How do I remove the jar from the base of the Hamilton Beach 51101 single-serve blender?

It won't budge and you're supposed to be able to get the pieces apart to clean them.
I can't "take out the bottom". Nothing moves. Nothing twists. It must unlock somehow but I don't see how to unlock [...]

Can I put my blender in the dishwasher?

I'm not lazy, just scared of getting cut by the blades and it doesn't have a "wash" or "clean" button like other blenders. I put a drop of soap inside with some water and blend it but it doesnt clean it very well so I [...]

Is the Magic Bullet system worthwhile?

I'm thinking of getting one, since I live by myself and the single size cups would be handy. I also make a lot of stuff that can be made with the Magic Bullet, like smoothies, quesadillas, salsa, guacamole, etc. I have a Hamilton Beach blender but it's [...]

Would you buy a Hamilton Beach 52735 Wavestation blender 700 W or Cuisinart SPB-6C 500W ?

they both on special, and I don't know which the best investment.

Always choose Cuisinart. Best bang for your buck every time!
