im going to the store with my mom and hav a couple questions.
-i really like quaker oats instant oatmeal and i like apples and cinnamin the best, ive have tried cinamin and spice and maple and brown sugar and apples n cinamin is my favorite still. the question is what flavors are really good that i should try? also, does the reduced sugar apples n cinamin taste a lot differeent/bad?
ok another thing- wanna start making wraps for lunch for school im getting sick of the same old thing...whats a good maker of WHOLE grain tortilla wrap thigns that are low in calories but not like any weight watcher crap.
ok also, i just realized that we have the magic bullet! i wanna make some smoothies and milkshakes- give me recipes nd ingredients to buy!
lastly, looking for a new cereal. want a healthy one that has fiber, isnt crazy high in calories, and tastes good! i was thinking about getting cinamin life.

Never had the reduced sugar apples and cinnamon oatmeal but the peaches and cream is yummy!! However, for health and calories I choose to eat the "non instant" oatmeal. I put a little bit of local honey in it.
As for whole grain tortillas, I honestly don't know specific brand names. Sorry. But look for tortilla's made with "sprouted" grains. Much more healthy for you and they taste great. Veggie and cheese wraps are great. A little cheese of choice, some sprouts, thin sliced cucumber, tomato, roasted red peppers...basically anything you like..(I spread with wasabi mayo or mayo with horseradish). Or you can grill veggies brushed with olive oil and then refridgerate and use them.
My favorite smoothie is frozen blackberries and raspberries (or fresh of course but they are quite expensive), a little vanilla yogurt and a little local honey.
Cinnamon life is pretty high in calories/sugar. Love it though. I tend to lean towards special K or special K with strawberries. Can't say I ever compared the actual sugar/calorie content but I believe it is lower than Life. If you really want to cut the sugar and calories just go for the plain puffed rice, puffed wheat cereals that are in bags.
