Oster blender question?

I have an Oster blender. The jar has a blade, a bottom screw on base, and a flat rubber seal. Does the rubber seal go between the jar and the blade. Or the blade and the base?

what order do the parts go back together?

The round rubber ring goes over the blade - then you shove that into the hole of the bottom of the blender pitcher - (in between) to create a seal so the liquid doesnt fly out.
