I have been through blender Hell! I've tried an expensive Oster, which the plastic plug in the lid fell in, and ground up into my soup. The Hamilton beaches (used to be great years ago, but raddle straight out of the box) Problem: I am disabled, and at Poverty level, so I refuse to pay more than $200 for a Blender (which all come from Asia) I saw a site that claims the Vitatec, and Vitamix are good. Yet they are $400

note I will have to order it online, coz I don't have transportation.
